MODERATE FLOODING LIKELY AT MARION DOWNS WEDNESDAY AFTERNOON

MODERATE FLOODING OCCURRING AT BEDOURIE AND POSSIBLE AT GLENGYLE FROM AROUND THURSDAY

Widespread rainfall totals were recorded in the upper Georgina River and Eyre Creek catchments in late March which has caused renewed river level rises and flooding across the catchment. River and creek levels will remain elevated and flooding will continue as the floodwaters continue to slowly move downstream.

No significant rainfall has been recorded since early April. No significant rainfall totals are expected over the next few days.

Georgina River to Marion Downs

Elevated river levels and flooding are occurring along the Georgina River to Marion Downs, with moderate flooding occurring at Roxborough Downs and likely at Marion Downs.

Georgina River downstream of Marion Downs

River levels are elevated along the Georgina River downstream of Marion Downs.

Eyre Creek

Moderate flooding is occurring along the Eyre Creek.
