MAJOR FLOODING EASING AT MARION DOWNS
BEDOURIE AND GLENGYLE LIKELY TO REMAIN AROUND THE MAJOR LEVEL AHEAD OF SIGNIFICANT RENEWED RIVER LEVEL RISES FROM MID-WEEK
The major flood peak along the Georgina River has passed through Marion Downs and is now moving towards Eyre Creek, where significant renewed river level rises are likely from mid-week at Bedourie and Glengyle.
No significant rainfall is forecast over the next few days.
Georgina River to Marion Downs
Major flooding is easing along the Georgina River between Roxborough Downs and Marion Downs.
Georgina River downstream of Marion Downs
River level rises are occurring along the Georgina River downstream of Marion Downs. Moderate flooding is rising along King Creek at Cluny.
Eyre Creek
River levels remain elevated around the major flood level along Eyre Creek at Bedourie and Glengyle, with significant renewed rises expected from mid-week as the main flood peak from upstream arrives.
