Final Flood Warning for the Bokhara River

MINOR FLOODING NO LONGER EXPECTED AT HEBEL

The flood peak along the Bokhara River has passed Hebel, where the river level peaked on Monday evening around 0.92 metres, slightly below the minor flood level (1.00 m).

No significant rainfall has been observed across the catchment over the last few days. Showers are forecast over the next few days but widespread significant rainfall is not expected.

Balonne River downstream of Beardmore Dam

River levels are easing along the Balonne River system downstream of Beardmore Dam. Minor flooding is no longer expected at Hebel where the river level peaked slightly below the minor flood level Monday evening.
