MODERATE FLOODING LIKELY AT YATTON FROM MONDAY EVENING AND POSSIBLE AT TAROOM, THEODORE WEIR AND BARALABA INTO TUESDAY
MINOR FLOODING POSSIBLE AT MOURA FROM LATER MONDAY
Moderate to locally intense rainfall has been observed across parts of the Fitzroy River catchment over the last few days. This has resulted in rapid river and creek level rises particularly across parts of the Dawson, Comet and Nogoa River catchments.
Major flooding is possible along the Kroombit and Callide Creeks, minor to moderate flooding is possible along the Dawson River, moderate flooding is likely along the Isaac River, and elevated river levels are occurring or expected across the Nogoa and Comet River catchments.
Further rainfall is forecast for the remainder of Monday. This may result in higher and earlier river level rises, depending on the timing and intensity of rainfall.
A Flood Watch is current for most of Queensland. A Severe Weather Warning for heavy rainfall is current, including parts of the Fitzroy River catchment.
Dawson River to Theodore
Moderate flooding is occurring at Windamere and Gyranda Weir and minor flooding is occurring at Chilgerrie Weir and Isla-Delusion Crossing
Dawson River downstream of Theodore
Minor flooding is occurring at Redcliffe, Karamea and Becker's.
Don and Dee Rivers
Comet River
River level rises are occurring across the Comet River catchment.
Nogoa River
River level rises are occurring across the Nogoa River catchment. Moderate flooding is occurring at Sapphire and minor flooding is occurring at Clermont.
