NEAR MINOR FLOODING OCCURRING AT APLIN WEIR
As advised by Townsville City Council, Ross River Dam will see controlled releases through the spillway. This will contribute to flows downstream in the Ross River.
No significant rainfall is forecast for the next few days and the Ross River at Aplin Weir is likely to continue to slowly fall over the next few days. No further flooding is expected along the Bohle and Black Rivers and Bluewater Creek.
