Minor Flood Warning for the Lachlan River

MINOR FLOOD LEVELS CURRENT AT JEMALONG WEIR

The Lachlan River at Jemalong Weir is currently at 7.33 metres, above the minor flood level of 7.20 metres and is expected to remain around this level through the weekend and into next week.

The river gauge at Jemalong was calibrated by WaterNSW this morning which resulted in readings being adjusted upwards by 12 centimetres.

The Lachlan River at Condobolin Bridge may reach the minor flood level on Friday 6 August.

Showers are forecast across parts of Lachlan River catchment over the weekend. This rainfall is not expected to impact forecast flood levels. The situation is being closely monitored and revised forecasts and warnings will be issued if required.
