Minor Flood Warning for the Tuggerah Lake

MINOR FLOODING CONTINUING AT LONG JETTY, LIKELY TO PERSIST UNTIL SATURDAY
Moderate to heavy rainfall since Saturday last week has caused significant river, creek and lake level rises across the Wyong and Tuggerah Lake catchment. Minor flooding is occurring in Tuggerah Lake at Long Jetty where the lake level is likely to remain above the minor flood level until Saturday.
Showers and the chance of a thunderstorm are forecast over the next few days which may cause further rises as well as slowing the recession of levels in Tuggerah Lake. The situation is being closely monitored and warnings will be updated as required.
