Minor Flood Warning for the Waterhouse River and Flood Warning for the Roper River

MINOR FLOODING POSSIBLE AT BESWICK BRIDGE

River levels along the Waterhouse River are continuing to slowly fall though further rainfall is expected for the next few days, which may cause renewed river level rises. With renewed rises, Beswick Bridge may reach around the minor flood level overnight Monday into Tuesday.

Widespread heavy falls are unlikely, but isolated heavier falls remain possible for the next few days. The situation is being closely monitored and the warning will be updated as required.

A Flood Watch is current for parts of the Top End.

Waterhouse River

Minor flooding is possible along the Waterhouse River.

Roper River below Elsey Creek

River levels are elevated throughout the Roper River catchment.
