- A high is moving through the Bight, expected to be centered over Tasmania by the evening. A trough lies just inland from the west coast, which will continue to move eastward over the south coast throughout the day. A cold front will pass through the southwest corner of the State during the night before brushing eastward over the south coast on Saturday. A new ridge will build rapidly through southern and western parts of the State in the wake of the trough.
