Caution

Large and powerful surf conditions in the morning are expected to be hazardous for coastal activities such as crossing bars by boat and rock fishing, particularly for south facing beaches.

Weather Situation

A low pressure system to the east of the state is directing near on shore flow whilst a high pressure system centred south of the Bight extends a ridge to the east. A front will move over the Tasman Sea throughout the day making way for the slow-moving high which is expected to become the dominant feature for coming week.
