A ridge of high pressure lies to the west of Tasmania, while a low approaching from the northeast is expected to move down the east coast of Tasmania on Monday and then away over the Tasman Sea during Tuesday. A high is expected to build over the Bight on Wednesday maintaining a ridge over the west and south of Tasmania.
