Weather Situation

A high pressure system over the Tasman sea remains for the next few days while a Low pressure system and cold front develop and approaches Tasmania. The cold front crosses Tasmania Thursday afternoon and evening, with the Low centre passing just to the south of the state on Friday. A large High pressure system builds over the mainland on Saturday, extending a weak ridge over Tasmania.
