Weather Situation

A trough will cross the northern coastal waters today, extending a southerly wind change up the coast in it's wake. Winds will turn south to southwesterly and strengthen on Sunday and early Monday, reaching gale force about southern and central coastal waters, as a low pressure system forms off the north coast and heads southwards while a strong high pressure ridge building in the west cradles the low. Winds will then turn westerly early new week as the low moves further offshore.
