A ridge over central parts of the state is moving southeast and is weakening. A trough located near the southwest coast and associated low pressure system over water is slowly moving east. A new weak ridge will arrive over southwest WA on Thursday and move east across southern WA on Friday. Winds remain largely in the light to moderate range through to Friday.
