Weather Situation
A southerly change is continuing to move north along the northern waters today as a trough moves further east. Vigorous southerly winds will develop on Sunday as a low pressure system forms offshore and moves south, with gale force winds forecast to develop along the southern half of the coast. This low is forecast to become complex and linger over the southern Tasman Sea early next week, possibly causing winds to turn west to southwesterly.
