Warning to Sheep Graziers

Issued at 4:42 AM EST on Wednesday 24 Apr 2024.

Sheep graziers are warned that cold temperatures and southwesterly winds are expected during Wednesday and Thursday. Areas likely to be affected include the Snowy Mountains forecast district and parts of the Riverina forecast district. There is a risk of losses of lambs and sheep exposed to these conditions.

The next warning will be issued by 11:00 am EST Wednesday.
